Students were busy this week continuing with their country research and Year End Assessment. Students have two more periods next week to gather information on their country. On Wednesday, they will begin working on their poster or if they choose to purchase, their trifold. Students also had two periods every day to work on writing the paragraphs for each letter for their YEA. They were supposed to have the rough drafts of their paragraphs completed by the end of this week. Below are the examples that were shown in class and what mark they would get, a 4, 3, 2, or 1 as well as a brief description of what we are looking for. I have asked all students to bring in 1 plastic sandwich bag for Monday that they will put some scrapbooking materials into so they can use to decorate their pages with.
Wednesday we visited Heritage Park and it was an exciting and beautiful day! We couldn't have asked for better weather. Many of the Grade 4's had never been to Heritage Park and it was a great opportunity for all to see what life was like in the past. 13 days of school left!
