Students have presented their "maison hantée" projects and did a great job! The projects have been returned with their marked rubric. We learned the French alphabet and have been practicing in class. Students enjoyed singing our alphabet song, which I’ve attached below to practice at home. Next, we will start learning weather and temperature vocabulary so we can also give daily forecasts to go along with the date! For the last couple of months we have been learning and practicing vocabulary associated with greetings, numbers to 31, and the date (days of the week and months of the year). Students will be writing a short quiz to demonstrate their understanding of this vocabulary. We will have a review class next week and then students will write their quiz in their next class. 4D will write their quiz next Wednesday, November 15th, and 4A will write their quiz on Monday, November 20th. Students are not expected to memorize spellings of French words, but should be able to recognize and translate vocabulary (example: dix-huit is 18). —Mme Jagger
